The Kooples - belle chic parisien

I've been aware of the new chic brand 'THE KOOPLES' for quite some time now and have been meaning to blog about it for a while...

On route home from work today I stopped off at there intriguing concession in Selfridges and picked up there very own lookbook slash newspaper...Tres chic with its elegant yet bold black and white text and striking pictures. Half written in French and half in British, a very nice twist as this represents the brands whole entire concept.

The Parisian twist makes the clothes and brand elegant, classy, sophisticated and of course exceptionally romantic, yet the black and white, military, uniformed, cool and slight dishevelled rock n roll vibe is truly British. With the suits and tailoring inspired by the legendary Saville Row and the trademark intricate details on the clothes and accessories of tiny skull and crossbones is like a coat of arms and has true a rock n roll legacy:

My favourite couple Warren and Margaux (as seen above) are in charge of the Kooples blog and its a magical read/look. They met in a typical romantic Parisian love story way... eventually getting together after many random encounters in the streets of Marais when Warren finally plucked up the courage to talk to her and they have been inseperable ever since...
